Squadron 302 Rangers

The Squadron 302 Ranger Team is headed By (Expert Ranger) Major Paul McDonough. We have won The Hawk Mountain Ranger Competition several Times and well known in past years as having one of the Best Ranger Teams in the United States.  For the Past few years Sq 302 has been away form Hawk and did not attend many SAR events on a wing level. We are now in the process of renewing Our Ranger Team and getting several Cadets Mission Qualified. We hope to have a large turn out for the Ranger Staff at The Hawk Mountain School as we have had in years Past. All of our cadets have some Ranger Grade and by the end of 2000 all should be at least R2. Our Commitment to Purvey the Search and Rescue Motto: We do these things so others may live" Is often seen in some of the hard training that Rangers may go through. The 302 Ranger Team hopes to once again join the top Ranger Teams in PA

Where is Squadron 302 anyway?

We are currently located on Defense Distribution Region East Near the Capital City Airport at the Army Reserve Center near the back of the base.
               Meeting Times
We meet Every Tuesday night form 1830 till 2030 or 2100 hours.
                Directions
1.Go to the Gate Show Id and state that you are there for Civil Air Patrol
2.Follow road down till the first stop sign beside the fire station
3.make a left and proceed till you are almost at the end of the road it is that last building on the right pull into parking lot and enter building. Our offices are through the right door and the Second Set of offices on the right
